Great News!

Petey's getting adopted!!!!! We found an awesome home for Petey and he will be leaving the "system" on Saturday to a new forever home! We hope to hear updates from Petey!

And a HUGE welcome to Fergie for joining our blog world... She was rescued from PA on March 24! Welcome home Fergie!!!!

This is what happens when I put Petey and Nell on the same chair. Isn't it cute? Notice Petey's paw on Nell's neck... amazingly, she did not freak out. Thank goodness. :-D

Mmmmm.... Sun....

It's been quite sunny lately... until the cold front came in and now we're expecting SNOW! WHERE IS THE SPRING???? Anyway, to leave you all fuzzy and warm... here are Nell and Petey snoozing in the sun.

A boy named Luke...

I had a chance to meet Luke last night... He is the cutest boy EVER! Very skinny, but adapted very well at his foster mom's place... here's his story... http://www.washhumane.org/mailmessageluke.htm

He'll stay in foster home until the foster mom thinks he's ready... but I bet she'll have a hard time letting him go... I wanted to bring him home!

Petey's Sweater...

Petey's sweater is finally finished... now that the spring is about to arrive... He seems to like it so far. The front looks little weird since I didn't exactly follow the pattern, but for my first sweater, I did darn good!
