This is the look I get from Nell when I work on my computer... It's almost like she's asking me, "Which one do you love more?... the computer or ME?!?" If only she knew that I am sitting in front of my computer updating HER blog...

Let the dress up begin...

This is one of my favorite time of the year. Halloween is so much fun... but this year, I get two treats. Petey and Nell. They are the victims of my psychotic need to play dress up. Perhaps because I didn't really play with dolls when I was a child, I now feel the need to dress the dogs up. I carved the Boston Terrier pumpkin... Petey is dressed up as a pumpkin... all that is to be dressed... is Nell.

The one of the thing that erks me about my condo is the big evergreen tree right in front of the living room. It's nice for privacy... but I hate having to turn on the light at 10am. Well, I was doing some cleaning today... and I looked around... and got nervous. Petey has disappeared on me. I looked in the office, and he was laying in the sun. He looked so peaceful.

What?

Petey has finally figured out how to get up on the couch... we were debating if we should discourage him and make him get down everytime he gets up... but I am weak. I tell my BF to do it, but I can't do it... Nell gives me the stare everytime he's up on the couch... but come on... he's an old man... let him up on the couch....

Survived the weekend...

Nell and Petey survived the weekend in the care of my BF and his dad. I had a chance to visit my friend who just moved up to Cincinnati. I figured I'd bring back Jim Beam's beef jerky back to my BF for not losing my doggies. ;-) Cincinnati was pretty cool... visited the Newport Levee and the Prime Outlet. What else can a girl wish for?

You stay in your corner... I'll stay in mine....

Feeding time around here has gotten way out of control. When Petey first came to us, Nell would not want to eat her meal. I would have to put Petey in the bathroom with his food, so he would not run over to Nell's food and eat them. Personally... Petey is my kind of dog... eat what ever is in front of you... and don't be picky... Anyway, after few meals getting eaten by Petey, Nell races to her food as fast as Petey aproaches his. No more gating Petey in the bathroom... Nell is standing her own. She actually finishes faster than Petey sometimes...

Allllll MINE!

Petey has been much more playful since he joined us. That has caused Nell to show her jeolousy... We figured she would be a good team player... but the picture shows us she's not... She must have it all... and she must be the center of attention.

Petey's home...

Petey is back from the vet visit. He seems to be doing better than last night... I'm very relieved. He's on several medications... we'll know more tomorrow when the blood work comes back. Nell is indifferent about Petey coming back. She had a night rest to be the only child... now he must share my love...

All by her lonesome...

Petey left tonight to go stay with Aunt Mary so he can visit the vet tomorrow. He has not been well the last few weeks... you would have never known with his obsession of food and water... but, it's time to be checked out with the vet. Nell seems to be calmer and more laid back... she must be thinking, "Finally... I am the queen again".

Nell's New Puppia Harness

Petey has stolen Nell's harness, and she's been walking with a regular collar... Although Nell is not a puller when we walk, I still get paranoid sometimes that I'm pulling on her too hard. Members on the Woof Board have been raving about the harness called Puppia Harness. Of course, when there are a lot of time to be spent on the internet, one of the places I checked was e-bay... and low and behold... 3 days later... Puppia Harness has arrived!

Nell's finally getting used to other bostons. This is our third time attending the Boston Meetup and today, she made some progress. She chased other Bostons and made some new friends instead of being the lonely one sniffing the fences. She still has some submissive "lay on the back" moments, but not as many as last month. Petey did well too. This was his first meet up and everyone LOVED him. He greeted each humans... and almost feel off the deck...

They're so tired, that they're taking a nap...
